Most 3D printing projects top out at figurines and phone cases. We wanted to print cars. Not toy cars. Actual, full-scale body panels you can bolt onto a frame and drive.

People said it wasn't practical. We disagreed.

Printers got bigger. Filament got cheaper. The only thing missing was the files. So we started building a library of accurate car meshes, converting them into printable geometry, and giving it all away for free. No subscriptions, no locked tiers. You download, you print, you build.

We started because we love cars and we love making things with our hands. Every model here comes from real reference data, split into parts your printer can handle, with guides to put it all together.

Not a company. Just people who build.

Everything is open source and community-driven. The Jesko, the Countach, the F1 car, all free. If you want to contribute a model, fix a file, or just print something cool and post it, you're already one of us.

Built by enthusiasts

A small group of car nerds, 3D printing hobbyists, and engineers. We design the models, write the guides, test the prints, and put it all out there. The hard part is the mesh-to-print conversion pipeline and we're actively solving that. If you know your way around Blender, computational geometry, or just have a printer and want to test files, come hang out.

Nobody's posted yet. That means whoever prints first gets to be the one everyone else references. Download a model, build it, photograph it, and we'll put it right here.

How It Works

Where the models come from.

Everything here is free, open source, and community-maintained.

01

Community Contributions

People from the 3D printing car community donate their converted files. We verify them, organize them, and publish them for everyone to download.

02

Reverse Engineering

We extract meshes from games (based on real 1:1 car scans) and manually convert them into clean, printable geometry. Slow process, but the results are accurate.

03

R&D & Automation

Manual conversion doesn't scale to 623 cars. We're building automated pipelines to do the mesh-to-print conversion so every model becomes printable without hand-work.

3D Scan Donations

Got access to a scanner?
That's the hardest part sorted.

The biggest bottleneck in this project isn't printing or assembly. It's getting accurate 3D data of real vehicles. Industrial scanners are expensive and most of us don't have access to one. If you do, a single scan from you could unlock an entire car for thousands of builders.

What we need

Raw 3D scans of real vehicles. Body panels, interiors, wheels, chassis. Doesn't need to be perfect. We handle all the cleanup and conversion to printable files.

What happens next

Your scan gets converted into a print-ready model, published for free under your name. You get full credit on the model page. Someone, somewhere, prints their dream car because of you.
